For the second consecutive sitting of the Lower House, sacked Trade and Industry Minister Dr. Keith Rowley occupied his new seat with in the Government Backbench.

It was only last Wednesday news broke of Dr. Rowley’s removal from Cabinet, by Prime Minister Patrick Manning.

Mr. Manning has defended the move, saying 4 Cabinet members said Dr. Rowley behaved like a hooligan and "wah jang" at a sub-committee meeting.

Dr. Rowley has since denied these allegations and says the Prime Minister has failed to tell him ‘what he did wrong’.

But the Diego Martin West MP didn’t let this on-going controversy affect his loyalty to the People’s National Movement.

He showed up at today’s sitting sporting a black suit, red shit and balisier tie-the ruling party’s symbol.

Dr. Rowley was seen chatting with other back-benchers St Ann’s East MP Anthony Roberts and Sangre Grande MP Indra Sinanan Oja-Maharaj, during the sitting.
