Prison authorities last night made special security arrangements for Sunil Ali… the man accused of killing eight-year-old Hope Arismandez.

It’s reported Ali would be put in a special cell and would be kept under constant watch.

Earlier in the day when Ali was taken to court… prisoners had refused to sit with him in the trucks …and shouted that they will await his arrival in prison

Yesterday Ali appeared before a Chaguanas magistrate charged with the child’s gruesome killing

An angry crowd waited outside the courts for him…

He was called degrading names, threatened with beatings and told he was inhuman.

By 8.30 a.m the crowd was even thicker and a dozen soldiers were asked to join members of the Inter-Agency Task Force and Chaguanas Task Force to secure the court.

One woman was arrested for cursing… Two motorists were ticketed for leaving their cars on the road to join the mob…while the case was being heard

At the courthouse, the gates were closed to keep out the crowd.
