A 28-year-old man from Maloney was gunned down around 930 this morning at Building 11 in the area.

Police are said to be investigating a report that Marvin Howell, also known as “Charlie Cool” who resides at Building 5 went to Building 11 this morning.

While walking up the staircase at Building 11, a gunman approached Howell and shot him in the head.

He died on the spot.

Police found a pack of marijuana and a knife on him.

Senior Superintendents  Maharaj and  Moore visited the scene.

The body was viewed by District Medical Officer Dr Vinood Mahabir who ordered its removal to the Forensic Science Centre where a post mortem would be conducted.
