A 29 year old man is assisting police in the investigations into the death of his 9 month old son

Keith Kerr of Mafeking Village in Mayaro was arrested yesterday by officers of the Mayaro Police Station after the toddler died

A police report states the baby…Ricardo Clark… had been crying for some time

It said the Kerr attempted to quiet him but became annoyed after several failed attempts

He reportedly took up a stick and dealt the baby several blows

Little Ricardo was rushed to Mayaro district hospital but died a few hours after he was treated
